PRESCOTT FOR HOCKEYVILLE 2012
This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the Leo Boivin Midget Showcase in Prescott, mark your calendars for March 23 - 25th. We are excited to bring the 40th edition of this tournament to Prescott. As part of the celebration, the organizing committee felt it was the ideal time to apply to Kraft Hockeyville 2012.
We are busy organizing our challenge to become one of the 15 finalists to be named the Kraft Hockeyville town. The ultimate prize is $100,000 for arena renovations and a pre season NHL exhibition game.
We truly believe that the Leo Boivin tournament is a one of a kind experience for teams.
We have had previous teams tell us that if we were to enter the hockeyville competition that we would get their vote.
VOTES/SUPPORTERS are what we need ...... We ask that our community, arena users and friends all take a few minutes to help us reach our target. Our goal is to reach 2012 supporters for the Leo Boivin Community Centre !
When browsing the Kraft Hockeyville website, krafthockeyville.cbc.ca, you will notice that each community has a spot where supporters can join. The number of supporters is very important. It helps when the judges look at each community.
WE NEED YOUR HELP

There are two main components to our bid. We need votes on the hockeyville website and we need people to go to the facebook page of Kraft Hockeyville and promote Prescott For Hockeyville on their site with stories / pictures / or simply a saying such as Precott For Hockeyville 2012 - Leo Boivin Community Centre is the place to be !
It is our understanding from the organizers that the combination of supporters and facebook posts will alert the judges to our dedication to hockey and desire to be crowned Kraft Hockeyville for 2012!
It is an easy 3 step process :
1. Go to krafthockeyville.cbc.ca - sign up with an email address - join us on our community page - search Leo Boivin Community Centre
and join us !
2. Go to the facebook page of Kraft Hockeyville (company page) - post on their wall promoting Prescott and Leo Boivin Community Centre
3. Pass this message on to everyone in your contact list - your family, friends, co-workers and ask them to support our goal. Together we can
become Kraft Hockeyville 2012!!!
The top 15 finalists will be named on the March 3rd broadcast of Hockey Night in Canada. Voting will take place after that.
For those of you who can join us we have our KickOff Pep Rally scheduled for Sunday, February 12th at 2 pm leaving South Grenville District High School and travelling to the Leo Boivin Community Centre where we will rally and celebrate our small town pride and love of the game.

For anyone who has
underlying issues with the SGMHA or a coach or player must
contact the board member who deals with this issue. The SGMHA will deal
with any and all issues, and contacting the ODMHA before the SGMHA may
result in fines or suspensions.
